Fixing the Housing Problem in AZ

by KJ Kaufman on Sep.03, 2010, under Politics

As most of us know, with the exception of the Congress and Administration in D.C., the housing bubble that crashed in 2008 is the primary cause of our country’s economic woes.  Unfortunately, until this problem is fixed, which nothing the Federal Government has done is going to fix this problem, in many States, like Arizona, that rely heavily on the residential housing market, our economic woes will continue.  I proposed the following fix in an email to my State Senator, Jack Harper (R-District 4) this morning.  I’m sharing the letter I sent to him with you.  If you like the idea, and also live in a State highly dependent on residential real estate, perhaps you might share the letter with your State Legislature.

One Day You’ll Wake Up and It’s Gone

by KJ Kaufman on Jun.29, 2010, under Constitutional Matters, Politics

As I have spent the last 2 ½ years (the time at which I became awake) trying to awake my friends and associates as to what is going on in America, I find that I have made very little progress.  Spending over two years devoted to something and seeing very little progress is disheartening to say the least, but there comes a point where one just gives up as seeing ones efforts as an exercise in futility.  For those of you who know me, you know I don’t give up that easily.  An exercise in futility or not, I will continue to hound you to wake up albeit the frequency of my requests will be diminished because frankly I have a business to run and grow and can only devote limited time to political endeavors.

The Sestak Cover-Up Continues – Obama Shill Gov. Ed Rendell Plays Cover for the Administration

by KJ Kaufman on Jun.05, 2010, under Politics

June 4, 2010, Washington D.C (10:00PM EDT)
Governor Ed Rendell appears on the Greta Van Susteren show and tells Greta that he had conversations with the White House and then spoke with Representative Sestak (supposedly with no jobs being offered) encouraging Sestak to not pursue a Senate primary against Senator Arlen Specter.  Greta pushes Governor Rendell regarding why he didn’t mention this just last week when Greta was interviewing him about the Sestak controversy.  Governor Rendell replies that he didn’t think it was relevant because he didn’t speak to Sestak about a job, and on Greta’s show the week before, they were talking about a job being offered.  The real story here is not that Governor Rendell withheld information; the real story is that Governor Rendell is now covering for the White House and has become a willing participant in this scandal.

Housing Hypocrite Barney Frank Looks like an Orwellian Ministry of Truth Worker Re-writing History

by KJ Kaufman on May.21, 2010, under Politics

Representative Barney Frank (D-MA), the Chairman of the prestigious Finance Committee since 2006, has been spinning this idea that he was promoting the renting of affordable homes instead of promoting the purchasing of affordable homes.  Representative Frank should have been the head of Orwell’s Ministry of Truth for all the re-writing of history he is currently engaged in.  There is no better way to show you the hypocrisy of Barney Frank than simply letting him do so in his own words.  First Frank’s latest lie that he was pushing renting homes not buying homes.

There is Only One Political Question

by KJ Kaufman on Mar.06, 2010, under Politics

The Answer to the Question Tells You Everything You Need to Know about the Person’s Politics

As I have become more politically active over the past two years, the one thing that continues to annoy me more than almost anything else is the political class and the pundits of the media pitting Americans against one another. I am so tired of Republicans vs. Democrats, left vs. right, liberal vs. conservative, gay vs. straight, black vs. white, the political division game goes on and on. I, for one, am done with participating in divisionary politics. We are all Americans folks, and it is high time we moved forward under the unified political banner as Americans. While you roam the political swamp, there is really only one political question that need be asked of your fellow Americans.
